I have had a horrible experience with this location's grooming service. Their employees showed such incompetence with concern to their jobs that I am baffled by the experience, I called to schedule a first time appointment for a dog that I recently rescued. When I arrived at my appointed time, the groomer asked for my dogs rabies vaccination papers. I didn't have the papers on me as I was not informed to bring them. Although my dog did have on his vaccination ID tag, they would not accept it as proof of vaccination. I have no problem with this policy, but I do have a problem with being inconvenienced at no fault of my own. I returned home with my dog in tow to get his papers-a 30 minute round trip. When I returned they then refused to groom him because of his heartworm positive status. The employee was told not to groom him by the store manager. A manager of a pet store should know about pet related issues like heartworm. A heartworm infection isn't a grooming issue and it's not transferable to other animals. I took two trips to this store, spent two hours of my day, and put stress on my dog. In the end they would not even groom him. I'm am very disappointed in this store's customer service and will not be returning there to shop or use grooming services. I hope you consider using another groomer and pet supplier as well. I think people and their animals deserve better than this. The whole experience was very upsetting.
