The new GM brought a bunch on con artist sales people in trained to give you a bad deal. The whole sales force from the top down is unorganized and have one thing in mind, and that is to take advantage of customers. A joke of a business. Toyota is a great vehicle, but buy is somewhere else.
****BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT**** They had a vehicle I was highly interested in. It was advertised in the paper for $11,000 less than the normal price. I figured why not go look. We went to another Toyota dealership first to look. All their vehicles were "normal price" so we went to Performance to get a deal. We drove around the lot first. I did not see ANY basic models (that was advertised) of the vehicle I was looking for. A salesman flagged us down we told him what we were looking for. He stated they had 2 left at that price. We told him we had driven around and didnt see any. He stated they were in the back. We went into the building and proceeded to fill out the forms he put in front of us. All the while I am asking can I go look at the 2 you have. Once the forms were filled out he went directly to his manager and came back with "the numbers". He was giving us the figures for the vehicle at the Regular sales price......not the $11,000 less. He stated they sold out the first day. In the paper I brought with me it said they had 20 at the discount price. THERE IS NO WAY THEY SOLD 20 BEFORE 2:00 WHEN I ARRIVED! I only give them 1 star because the salesman was very polite and I understand he has to make a living BUT PERFORMANCE TOYOTA SHOULD NOT FALSE ADVERTISE!!! I spent a total of 2hrs there for nothing. I will go to their competitors next time I do buy. I appreciate the fact they dont lie to get me in the door.

First of all I bought a Hybrid Highlander, what a mistake. After 112K miles the hybrid drive went out and cost $10K to repair. I have a Sequoia with 190K miles on it and love it, so I bought a regular Highlander. I get better gas mileage from that one! I was given the ""free maintenance"" which later I found out I paid for in the contract. Then I go to Performance Toyota and have to fight to get the ""free oil changes"" every time I go, because they say it is not ""in the system"" Today I arrived at 7:30 AM and they wanted me to wait till 8:30AM until an office opened so they could get authorization for payment! What POOR customer service. After speaking to Roy Adams the Service Manager, he stated it was their ""POLICY"" and they would not start the work until they got authorization! This is the WORST Service Department I have ever dealt with and will never go back. It appears Performance has several Dealerships in Memphis and almost a lock on Toyota so my next vehicle will be an Infinity.

I filled out an online form requesting further information about a 2010 Matrix S. I was contacted immediately the next morning by Buddy, I stopped in about 2:30 and worked a deal with him. It did take a while to wrap it up, but I've never bought and financed a car where it didn't take the better part of a day. I was happy with the deal especially since I was so very upside down on my trade in. I was even impressed they'd trade since I'd purchased a lemon from Pontiac just 6 months prior. I really wanted to be in an American made car, but the difference in quality was too hard to accept. So, 2700 miles later, I hit a large tire rim in the middle of the interstate during rush hour traffic. I changed lanes and there it was and I was stuck. Straddled it straight down the middle. The damage to transmission, undercarriage, and exhaust system was roughly $9400. Imagine my horror to have this happen to my brand new car. I immediately called the dealer and spoke to Brian Kelly. He was extremely comforting to me in my state of hysteria. I had the car towed to Performance and they took care of everything, even worked with the body shop and coordinated all the repairs. Between the mechanical repairs and the body repair, it took just a little over 3 weeks, but I'm confident in their work. Brian was always very informed as to the status of the car, even when the body shop had it. I'm more than happy with the experiences I've had with Performance and fully intend to use them again in the future.
