Great service with munford store

I came into the store with many questions about my dogs itching and scratching. I've talked to a few of my friends about but to do but nothing has helped. When I asked advice at this store the girl who helped me (Ashley) was very nice and informative. She not only asked about the dogs symptoms but also asked her name! She gave me a lot of information about the foods and also gave me free samples to try out! My dog is doing so much better now that I have got advise from the women there. I suggest that everyone go there with any issues with their fuzzy children! Thanks so much!!

the clerk at the poplar store…

the clerk at the poplar store recommended this Fromm dog food that almost killed my dog, she swore that it was the best food blah blah didn't ask me ay questions about my dog other than what i use to feed which was taste of the wild needless to say i went back to and my dog is just fine. I'll never go back to hollywood feed it seems like all they want to sell is fromm it use to be eagle pack. I use to like going in there but im tired of the harrasment every time i go there and they try to switch me. I would understand if im feeding a bad food but I told her and since they didn't sell it she wanted me to switch. It's bad business and several of my friends have had the same experience.

Great store, Awesome Pet Groomer !!!!

I have been taking all of my dogs to this store to be groomed for years. I think she can do any style on any dog. This is the only Groomer I use for all 3 of my dogs.

All of the staff is friendly and helpful. If you hate going to big stores like Walmart & Home Depot when you just need a few things then you will love this store. Fast helpful employees in a smaller store that cater to the customer without long check out lines.

Awesome store! It's great that we can bring the dogs, too - The staff is very knowledgeable about pets and their daily care/problems/health, etc. Great recommendations on food - all 4 dogs loved it....and it's not expensive, either! \r \r Can't wait for the halloween costumes to come in!!

Do Not Get Your Dog Groomed At Hollywood on Broad

Sat 8/8/2010 - Brought my Yorkie pup in for grooming. Instructions: Trim hair around face; short skirt (showing length that I wanted); trim nails.

What I got: Yorkie shaved with tail nipped (cut);

Entire body shaved; tail nipped (had to take pup to Vet); nails not trimmed.

Talked to Terry (groomer); She said that she misunderstood & was sorry! She did say that it would grow out fast!! That was not comforting!

Out $35 for grooming (butchering) & $40 vet visit for tail that was nipped & cut!!

DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET TO HOLLYWOOD FEED

worst company

been shopping here for a long time when i went to redeem my card for a free bag they wouldn't redeem it they said that it wasn't legit. They stated that some of the signitures weren't theirs. I told them if they didn't turn over employees all the time they wouldn't have this propblem it seemed lately everytime i went there there is always a new face. they claimed that we are growing so fast we keep hiring new people. I told the girl that i will never shop there again and she said to me its ok sir we will survive without you.

Best pet store in town!

I use to buy my pets food at the grocery store but my dog would have an upset stomach and eat a lot of grass. I stopped by Hollywood Pet Star one day and mentioned my dog's problem. The employee showed me some other dog food that were not very expensive and gave me some free samples of the food. My dog has been much better since I changed his food. I love HPS because the staff is always helpful. They carry my dog food out to my car for me and they are very polite. They now have a groomer on site and offer obedience classes. They also have a vet on site every Thursday. I never have to go anywhere else now. I can get food, grooming, and vaccines all in one place. It's great! I recommend Hollywood Pet Star to anyone with pets. Much more personal and friendlier than the big box stores like Petco.
