Diesel Care and Performance was started in 2004 by Billy and Amy WIlliams of Memphis TN. Billy Williams has been in the diesel industry since 1987, taking his first job with Test Calibration Inc of Mobile, AL that same year. He worked for ten years with Test Calibration, but felt the need to broaden his resume and took a job with Mid-South Diesel Service of Memphis in the fall of 1997, moving his family to the great city of Memphis in December of 1997. He role working for one of the largest central distributors in the country help groom him for the challendge of running his own business. By 2003 it was the "education" of working in the corporate world that convinced him that he wanted to start his own company. He left in 2004 and started Diesel Care and Performance. Starting as a rebuilding shop for a large parts house, he quickly expanded, hiring three technicians and aquiring test equipment from a shop that was going our of business. This expansion led to additional contracts with multiple large retailers of fuel injecton pumps and by 2007 He had ten employees and was doing almost one million dollars in annual sales. indexpic1 In 2008 DCP rented a 11000 square foot facility in Millington, TN. This allowed him to expand into drive-in service, build a nice fuel shop & warehouse, as well as offer a nice sales office to his growing sales staff. This building was situation north of Memphis, in a small farming community of Millington. The expanded warehousing opportunities allowed DCP to expand their internet business, and they slowing begin to enter into retail and wholesale distribution of products. In 2013 Diesel Care purchased a property in Memphis, and built a 18K square foot building, with a state of the art fuel shop, modern warehouse, engine, starter and alternator rebuild shops all under one roof. This expansion brought interest from additional vendors looking for Memphis representation. Two of these being Maxiforce Engine Parts of Miami and Iterstate-McBee of Ohio. These two companies allowed DCP to expand its engine parts lines, and we are today one of the most diverse suppliers of engine parts in the country, suppling everything from a John Deere to a Sibarura Tractor engine kit.
