Lots of great bbq in Memphis, but this is probably my favorite. Ribs were very good. But the banana pudding and pecan pie were excellent too. The one on Poplar is always crowded, but well worth the wait. Very friendly staff too.
I grew up in Memphis and went into the military before Corky's had opened. I had not been back to Memphis for over 25 years and had decided if and when I went back I would give them a try. It won't be another 25 years before I return to Memphis, that much is certain. The service was fantastic, the ribs were perfect and the brisket was heavenly. My wife and I gorged out until we thought we were going to die. We then remembered looking over the deserts on the way in and just couldn't say no. We decided to split a piece of the pecan pie and life will never be the same. We have decide all future trips will have to pass through Memphis, one way or another.
Corky s has the best ribs. I m from Louisiana and very time I visit my son in law, we eat at corky s.
One time the ribs were dried out and the waitress replaced our orders. I fer one enjoy there ribs, I always ask fer BBQ Sauce from the kicthens because it hot. Johnny in Shreveport
Delicious!!! The best barbque ive ever had!
Awesome food, best mississippi mud pie in town.
Corkeys BBQ is my favorite BBQ place in West Tennessee. They even have a frozen Dinner and pulled pork you can get in the grocery store.

This place is to much of franchise taste. The ribs were tough and dry. No comparsion to the Bar-B-Que Shope.\r Service was good. You can get the same ribs in Atlanta at O'Charlies.

I had great ribs. The meat fell right off the bone and the dry rub was really good. However, my co-worker ordered the same and his were way overdone, meat totally dried out. So, on the same day, same time, it just goes to show that consistancy is hard to achieve. If they were too dry the first time, tell them and try again. They definitely got my order right. Parking is scarce even on Mon night.

My husband and I were in Memphis touring their graduate school and we decided that since we were in Memphis we had to have bbq. I looked online for probably an hour trying to choose a restaurant. Finally we went with Corkys because it has good ratings and was close to our hotel. All I can say is WOW. I am a very slim woman and don't normally finish everything on my plate but I did that night. I even was drizzling bbq sauce on the rolls they brought us! The service was great and the ambience of the restuarant was very nice. Be prepared to wait a long time though especially if you are going on the weekends. It is well worth it though. Their pulled pork bbq sandwich was easily the best I've ever had!
We love Corky's and it was the first barbecue restaraunt that we came to when we visited Memphis before we moved here. We absolutely loved it! We've been to all of the other BBQ restaraunts that are talked about since moving here and Corky's is still our favorite. All of the staff is pleasant, the food delicious and ready super fast and it's clean. I would recommend the restaraunt to anyone new to the area/city.
NOT GOOD AT ALL. THEY RELY ON THEIR NAME NOT THE FOOD OR SERVICE. EAT AT ONE AND ONLY BBQ AT POPLAR AND KIRBY IF YOU WANT GREAT SERVICE AND OUT OF THIS WORLD FOOD

The sandwiches are good, not great, but this business about Corky's being the best in Memphis is a joke. They are the best marketed operation for sure, but the quality of their product doesn't measure up among true Memphis BBQ restaurants. The ribs aren't in the top 10.
The best baby back ribs in the United States.
i liked the food here but i actually prefer rendezvous - mainly for their bbq sauce. both are good tho.
BUT NOT AS AWESOME AS THEY CLAIM- GOOD BUT NOT FANTASTIC

Wet ribs, dry ribs, bananna pudding....it's all excellent. Even the dinner rolls they bring you are great. Everything is good and nothing is bad. They're wet ribs are so good.....lets just say that my fingers have never tasted this good. The meat just fell right off the bone. They even have the dry rub for the ribs and yes those were good too. Parking lacks quite a bit to be desired. Had to wait awhile to get seated but no more than any other place.

I just like their sauce. That's why they get high marks from me. I've been told that their dry ribs have more meat on them than do the wet ribs. This place to me is a quintessential Memphis BBQ joint.
