I was ticked off

They do wonderful work .... but !!! WATCH OUT WHEN IN COMES TIME TO PAY.

This is my story: Yesterday I got a quote from them to cut headers for six windows we are installing in cinderblock. We had cut the holes for the windows already all they had to do was cut notches for the headers.

The quote they gave me was $375. Today they cut it and the invoice is for $540. We did not have a written contract and apparently there was a misunderstanding as to what they were quoting.

The conversation ended with... and this is what rubbed me the wrong way!. Pay the bill or we will file a lien on the property and notify everyone.

So in summary:

Their work is great

They responded quick

They have the correct tools for the job.

Get the quote in writing (my mistake) and make sure what they quoted is everything you want done.

Otherwise it is going to be a bait & switch move.
