        The Central Nutrition Center houses the Division of Nutrition Services, which is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of food, supplies and cafeteria equipment. It prepares breakfast and lunch menus, as well as manages special diets and funds. The division additionally coordinates a range of employee training and nutrition education programs. It offers food warehousing and distribution services. The division serves nutritious meals to more than 110,000 students daily. The Division of Nutrition Services is a department of Memphis City Schools, which is a school district that has yearly enrolment of over 100,000 students in nearly 200 elementary, middle, high and charter schools.
