Shane’s Magical Hands: Originally from South Africa, I have had many types of massages in South Africa, all over Europe and in several of the US states. Finally I found the one massage therapist that I wish I could take with me on every trip. Shane is friendly, yet professional and has a natural way of calming me down right at the onset of the session. The really cool thing is that I can request what type and intensity of massage I would like for that specific session. For example an intensity of 7/10 is already ‘deep tissue’ for me while an intensity of 3/10 is a relaxing Swedish massage. For stress and trouble spots, I request an intensity of 5/10. Shane remembers my therapy preferences. At the onset of each session, he asks if I have any trouble spots that need special attention. He also senses other spots that I was not even aware of until he starts working them. Sometimes I just need to spoil myself with an aroma therapy session. My favorite aroma is Valor, which opens up the senses, followed by Frankincense. This combination usually transcends me to a mystical mountain forest. For sinus relief my choice is Eucalyptus. I recommend these magical hands to anyone who wants to feel good about them self. You definitely will feel a better you.

From Business: Our therapists are here to alleviate every ache, pain or stress — no matter how small — because we agree on one thing: The good life should actually feel that way.
Great experience. Great deal. I travel a lot, and was in Memphis this past week. A friend recommended Shane Rasner Massage and his $50 First Time deal, so I gave it a try. Of all the massage businesses I've been to around the world, Shane Rasner's was the most visually appealing of all. Felt like I was getting a massage in a Victorian estate rather than a massage parlor. This made it very easy to initially relax, then Mr. Rasner did the rest. His technique matched the quality of the space, and I quickly fell into a deep relaxation. Not only did my muscles/body feel better afterward, but Mr. Rasner noticed specific spots on my body where I had been carrying extra tension, and pointed them out to me before I even brought them up! Very impressive. Likely because he is also a licensed dentist and has extra knowledge on the connection of all parts of the body. Well done. I will be a return client next time I pass through Memphis.
I moved to memphis about a year ago, and since I've been here I've been searching for a good massage therapist. Massage after massage all disappointments, until I met Charlene. Being a massage therapist myself I appreciate a good massage and I was starting to give up hope on therapists in Memphis. Then, I met Charlene. The studio was really nice and comfortable and Charlene was amazingly nice. After asking what was going on, it seemed as if she knew exactly what I needed and what I'd been searching for. She combined relaxation and clinical techniques in a very fluid and efficient way. Being very knowledgeable about the human body and knew exactly how to work each muscle she touched. I came in feeling terrible, and left feeling absolutely amazing. I recommend that any and everyone that appreciates a great message, contacts Charlene Gaffney asap!
