The only Sekisui location in Memphis that I have not been to is Pacific Rim on Poplar but in my opinion, this location is the best. Sekisui east is beautiful from the time you walk in the door all the way down to the basement where the hibachi area is. The main room has a beautiful stream running through it. Most of the seating is on pillows. As you walk over the bridge and down stairs there are beautiful fish aquariums full of marine life. I have never had one complaint about the food. It is always fantastic and full of flavor. I've never noticed a problem with out service. The cooks are always full of life and make each trip memorable. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always do.

Had the first opportunity to experience what my friends had been raving about -- Chow Time!! I was not disappointed. The value, volume, variety -- AND the taste was a pleasant experience for my purse and palate! I and about 40 of my family members celebrating our family reunion during the July 4th weekend, descended upon Chow Time on Sunday afternoon following our worship service. The food, beverages and professionalism all outlasted us. I have already taken my sister and her family, visiting Memphis from Hawaii. They too were impressed. I think the melding of Asian and Home Cooked/Soulfood cuisine makes you want to write home to "Mama!"
This place has served Memphis the most authentic Chinese food for the past decade. What a blessing to Asian community. If you have ever had REAL Chinese food, you would certainly enjoyed this place. Authentic Cantonese food with daily dim sum and new addition of Taiwanese specialties. The place was closed for a few months during the summer 2010 due to relocation. It just re-open on Summer ave. on August. The daily dim sum, freshest seafood, unusual fresh Taiwanese bubble tea. This is certainly our favorite Chinese restaurant. We move to Memphis from Taiwan and Asian Palace has been such a blessing.
