Old Johnny Brusco's location in lakeland with brand new owners and menu. Open late on weekends with cold beer and a gigantic 22" pizza that can feed an army. They are generous with the toppings and with the cheese which seems to be rare these days at pizza joints. The sandwiches are fast and delicious and the servers are friendly and attentive. They have only been open for three weeks so they do still seem to be amending the menu, adding and deleting things according to customer requests, so don't feel shy about giving any of the owners or managers your opinion, they really seem to appreciate it and will go out of their way to make you feel appreciated and welcome.
Glad that I don't my decision on eating at a place based on one person review. My experience was great. The food was great and plentiful. I ate at the buffet and I never experienced such great service as I did. they came to my table so many different times with samples of the pizza that they serve. The manager cares a lot about his customers because he personally comes out on the floor to check on everyone and to see if they need anything. Everyone was courteous and polite. The pizza was fresh and hot. The cost is very reasonable and it fits my budget well. I will more than likely become a regular there.
when i went the crowd was middle aged and up. which was cool. the restaurant atmosphere was lovely, romantic and chill. i loved the food, i had greek pizza delicious. I went with a large group and i didnt hear one complaint. well none of us enjoyed an appetizer i think it was the cheese puff or something but the shell was flaky and just didnt go well with the cheese inside but the cheese inside was so good. I had a drink called ms. becky i loved it it was sweet tea vodka and lemonade.
