My daughter attended this school for almost three years. In that time period, she had a couple of amazing teachers and a few that were not so great. You can tell which teachers really care about their students and you can definitely tell which ones are just there for a paycheck. Some of them are quick to yell at the kids in a harsh tone and say rude things, and I've seen a teacher drag a child on the ground into the hallway by the arm. The front desk lady at the Kindergarten building (Mrs. Karen) is very sweet and helpful even though she is always super busy. I would say the shining star at this school is Mrs. Chapelle (sp?) She was my daughter's Pre-K teacher and is one of the most involved and nurturing teachers I've seen. She genuinely cared about my daughter and made her feel comfortable. You can tell she really cares about all the kids there. My daughter's Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Cole and she is a great teacher. My daughter learned so much and is well past where she should be as a First Grader thanks to her. The school is pretty nice and large but it is in a bad neighborhood and if you leave anything valuable in your car it is likely to not be there when you come back out. I would recommend this school if you have a weird schedule since it is 24 hours, but if you can afford a school in a better area, I would do it. All in all I gave the school a 3 because they are pretty much equal in good/bad qualities.

My son has been attending Big Dreams since he was around one year of age. The rate at which he has learned most of his developmental skills has been exceedingly pleasing. The friendly staff has played an immense role in contributing to his overall education. The staff is more than respectful to the parents, and understanding in each individual's situation. Not only is my son learning developmental skills at a faster pace, but the underlying hidden curriculum that the teachers and staff portray has advanced his skills in interacting and socializing with other children, and adults, as well. The day care is most importantly a safe haven for children to come attend school, whether it is just for day care or after school, and it is significantly evident that the children that attend this institution are thriving centered on the basic, sound foundation that the owners and staff have created. I did an immense amount of research pertaining to locating a great, reasonably priced daycare, and I am blessed to say that my son has had the remarkable opportunity to attend such a distinguished, educational school. I would recommend this school to any parents or single parents looking for a reasonably priced daycare with a great location and access to the many educational opportunities that this institution has to offer.
I am a first time mom and when looking at my childs care options in the area, I was not really pleased with any of them. I found the MSOD and was impressed. I enrolled my daughter and she loved it! This is an environment where she thrived and loved going to school. The teachers were interactive and the facility was very nice. I dont know why it got so many negative reviews. No, you are not allowed to go into the class rooms because they dont allow anyone in the class rooms other than the teachers for security/ sanitary reasons. But you have a huge bay window to view your child through and watch their class. I never had any issues with how she was treated or things she was learning. She did get sick very often but it was her first time in child care and she did not build up her immune system. The school sends out weekly newsletters, pictures and has family nights scheduled at local restaurants. It is run like a school and your child will learn. Not every family is built for the montessori requirement, others might feel better having their child in a day care facility. I wanted my daughter to learn and benefit from being in child care, so this was the perfect facility for us. The only reason why she is at a new facility is because we moved accross town. We both deffidently miss MSOD!
