Octavio's La Burrita on Main Street, on the way to Jacksonville, is a great stop on a summer day when you don't feel like cooking or a cold winter, when you and your family just want to relax. They make the best burritos around. Period. for $6.25, their smallest burrito (for about 4 dollars you can get a simple bean, bean and cheese or rice kind of burrito) filled with yummy things, including guacamole. Yum. Everything is better with avocado in it. I don't eat in their restaurant much, but thought their service was great, chips and salsa pleased the family. And, everytime we're hungry, I get a burrito for my girls to split. They're active in sports and life and need to be fed every few hours. And yes, I have a few bites too. I bought it after all. Sunset Magazine featured Octavio's La Burrita's burrito in a story on Best Mexican Foods. Support this longtime family business and get a great meal.
The food here is really good. I've been here several times. One time though as I was scarfing down my chicken chimmy, there was a big 'ol peice of plastic wrap in it. I stopped eating and when I finally got one of the waitresses attention I told her about it and she looked at me apologeticaly and all she said was, "I'm sorry." I'm not one to make a scene so that was the end of it.
The service was very nice. Right when I walked in I was ushered to a seat and served drinks in the blink of an eye. The waiter took my order very politely and the food was delivered in a orderly fashion. The taste was not the best mexican food i have ever had but it was very very good.
