- Welcome to Mechanicsburg Eye Associates, an independent optometry practice with a mission to provide the most comprehensive and advanced eye health and vision care to the residents of Mechanicsburg and greater central Pennsylvania. The eye care professionals in our office are dedicated to providing the most complete examination and vision services with exceptional customer service and individual care. Terrible service, they billed my insurance wrong and over charged me. Then when I called to question it the staff member I spoke with tried to blame it on me. Their invoicing is very hard to understand. I will not go back.

Provided by DexKnowsMy husband & I have been patients here for over 6 years. We took our 5 yr old daughter for an appt after hearing from her pediatrician that she needed glasses. Dr. Hawley was WONDERFUL with her. Very kind and understanding of all her questions. She was able to find frames that she liked from their variety of children's frames. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Hawley was WONDERFUL with her. Very kind and understanding of all her questions. She was able to find frames that she liked from their variety of children's frames. I highly recommend them!
I also had frame issues. I have a small head and the frames stuck out beyond. So every time I layed back on my couch to watch TV they would go forward. Grrrr!!
I also had issues with the staff being disorganized, no communication between the staff, unfriendly and just plain rude! The office manager was the worst. Never smiles and answers the phone like she hates her job.
I am moving on to a better eye doctor that a friend recommended to me. Hopefully I'll have better luck there.

Provided by DexKnowsMy spouse and I recently went to this practice and were both told we may have the beginning stages of glaucoma. Dr Fawley recommended tests be done to determine for sure. I think he has a scam going with this because both of us passed the glaucoma "air puff" test. I think because the economy is slow they are having patients cancel on them, thus their business is slow. So they need to make up for it. I don't appreciate being scammed. I feel they are preying on patients with insurance. Maybe I am wrong on this but I find it hard to believe that both my spouse and I need to have tests done for glaucoma.
