Misdiagnosed my cat's heart attack as an asthma attack and kept him malingering in pricey oxygen for over 24 hours without any real diagnosis or treatment; when his condition hadn't improved and they were closing for the holiday, they misled me about local options in order to keep him in their network so they could continue draining my money rather than having him go to a closer place to keep receiving oxygen (note that there was no guarantee he would survive the car ride without oxygen, so any increase in distance might be deadly!). Fortunately I found the closer location on my own and after only 5 hours in their care he was already out of oxygen and improving. Now he's home recovering, no thanks to the "care" he received at this ER which delayed his treatment by a whole week-end! Meantime I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them and was in the way, which I thought was standard protocol for emergency vets until I got to this other place (Rossmoyne Animal Emergency Trauma Center) and was welcomed by friendly faces even during their busiest times and was invited to visit with my cat for hours rather than being barely tolerated briefly. Not only is the treatment offered by the Mechanicsburg ER at Willow Mill inept, but you'll be made to feel like you're in their way the whole time they're draining your bank account for their overpriced ignorance!
