My bridesmaids and I went to Spa Bliss the morning of my wedding. From the beginning I had issues witht he spa's coordinator, trying to schedule the services. I was told that it would be possible to do everything that we were looking for in the time frame that we had available. It turned out that it was not possible. So I decided to scale the services back in order to not be rushed or stressed on my wedding day. When we arrived that morning, I was told that a couple of my bridesmaids appointments were earlier than what they had previously told me. It was very frustrating to have to call the girls to ask them to come in earlier. It really felt like the management had no regard for what an important event this was for me and did not appreciate our business.
We ended up leaving that morning and feeling good about how our hair and make up had come out, thanks to Candice, Jill, and Karissa. If not for them, I may have lost it!
The worst part was the bottom 6" of my maid of honor's hair was burned by a curling iron. It came out in clumps the next day in the shower. She had asked the stylist that she ended up with if it was normal for her hair to be smoking while it was being curled. She was told not to worry; that it was just the product in her hair. We called the spa a few times to inform them of the situation and we were basically dismissed each time. Eventually they did mail some products that are suppose to help repair her hair. In my opinion, the damage has already been done. I would not go back unless they have a major turn over of some of their staff.
