Dr. Christine Smith grew up in Plano, graduating from Plano Senior High School. She earned her bachelorââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s degree from Baylor University, and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center. She completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center/Kentucky Childrenââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. After residency, Dr. Smith accepted a position within the College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky as an Assistant Professor. In addition to clinical responsibilities, she led research projects and participated in medical student and resident education. In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her family (especially her sons Henry and Benjamin), watching sports (cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, the Baylor Bears, and the Texas A&M Aggies), and traveling to warm-weather destinations. Dr. Smith and her family reside in McKinney.
