Yesterday we went to touch of italy and it was closed, I called the phone number and the owner answered and explained that they moved to a new location and they had about a week left before the opened. He said if we wanted to stop in he would be there and we could see the new place. We were shocked they have a huge parking lot and it is only about a mile away from the other location and the inside I can't even begin to describe it , it is beautiful so I guess what I'm trying to say if you went there and you thought it was old and outdated then you should definatly give it another chance . Can not wait until they reopen.

I saw the new location yesterday. It looks AMAZING! I actually got to meet the owners as well. They are very very nice people. I told them that I have been coming to their restaurant on and off again the last few years. Honestly I don’t know why didn’t eat there more often. The food was great, the astmosphere was pleasant and the service was great. Sure the old location was a bit out-dated but the new location was beautiful! It has more comfortable dining space, a nice waiting/reception area and tons of PARKING! I can’t wait to come into the new place and try it out. I’m sure we will be dining there quite often :)
Stopped in for an impromptu "app and a drink". Looked over the menu and couldn't resist the shrimp with whole wheat penne, roasted bell peppers and spinach in a pesto sauce that was offered on the daily special menu. The creation was absolutely delicious. Large and plentiful shimp in a fabulous pesto sauce -- at a reasonable $17.95!! My wife had a nice rigatoni that was also very good. We like Paisano's in Richmond too but Bimbo's is just as good or maybe, for some dishes, even better.
