My entire experience with China House was very nice, beginning to end. I called in for a to go order and was told it would be here in 45 minutes to an hour. It was here in less then 30 minutes. I ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Sesame Beef, & 2 orders of Crab Rangoons. The portions were far, far more then expected. The Chicken Fried Rice was packed hard, the Sesame Beef was in a nice reusable plastic container rather then the normal fold cartons with metal insides, and this makes it especially nice when reheating the food. The food was excellent! The Chicken Fried Rice came with something unique. Large pieces of chicken rather then the little tiny cubes of meat fried rice normally comes with, the Sesame Chicken was very good with a very subtly sweet sauce and lots of Sesame seeds. And the Crab Rangoons were very good as well. The meal arrived within 30 minutes, was piping fresh and hot, and the driver was polite. This was a 5 star experience. And they deliver!
My family loves Plum Garden. The people are friendly & the service is great. They are open for lunch & dinner (not been there for lunch), but the menu is very similar. They do a very brisk carry out, so if you want it to go, they can do it. We all love their Egg Rolls, which are made fresh every day, and taste very good. We often eat Family Style. They serve (2) to (6) with the Family Style eating, and you get a choice of the main dish, plus all other items at a reasonable price. Their "Steak Kew" & "Steak In Crab Web" are both excellent. We also like their "Hong Kong Chicken" & "Garlic Chicken". I have been taking my family, and friends to Plum Garden for about (25) years.
I enjoyed every part of my meal from China House. The egg rolls were good...the crab rangoon was excellent. The beef egg foo young was the best I've had in years. The General Tso's was tasty too. My order arrived in 30 minutes. I also loved the containers they used ...sturdy plastic containers with lids instead of the normal aluminum trays...you could put them right in the microwave to heat up the leftovers...that was nice and easy...what a great idea!
