Mary Jean Hays of Affordable Events and My Catering handled the recent rehearsal party for my son's wedding for approximately 60-65 guests. As I live outside the metro Atlanta area I placed the entire task of planning, organizing, and catering in her very capable hands. The guests were pleased and I received innumerable compliments on the food presentation and, last, but not least the delicious food that was served. I am still hearing compliments after the fact. Without any reservations whatsoever I would recommend Affordable Events and My Catering for your special occasion.

Mary Jean did an amazing job of catering our wedding. From the day we did our tasting we could tell that she really cared about what we wanted and was willing to do what ever it took to make our day special. Her passion for cooking and presenting food along with her low prices really set Mary Jean apart from the competition. On our wedding day she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.

Mary Jean did a fantastic job at our wedding. She was so easy to work with, from the initial tasting, all the way through our wedding day. I don't think there is a person in the catering business who cares more about their client's satisfaction than Mary Jean. If you are on a budget, but still want your food to look and taste great, you must call Affordable Events & My Catering. The food set-up looked amazing, every detail was taken care of. It's only been one week since our wedding, and many of our friends and family have commented on how great the food was. She even baked the Bride's and Groom's cake! Call Mary Jean, you will not regret it.

We chose MJ to cater our son's wedding based on the amazing food and service we sampled at our tasting. When planning a bridal shower for my future daughter in law, I initially intended to order a couple special items from MJ that my FDIL loved at the reception-tasting but didn't choose for her reception due to the fact if we had chosen everything we loved, there would be no room at the reception for guests, because the food would have taken over the space. Every single thing we tested was amazing!!



Well, when I looked over the menu and the prices, I realized I could have MJ do all the food for the shower and still stay on budget. This was the single best decision I made in the entire planning of the shower. Not only did having the food catered alleviate ton's of pressure in preparing for the shower, but the food was sooo delicious! Our guests just went on an on about it.



We are even more excited about the food at the upcoming wedding reception now that we've had this wonderful 'preview'!!



Honestly, the combination of prices, food and service cannot be beat. I will definitely recommend MJ to anyone planning an event and will certainly call upon her services for future occasions.

With less than 2 weeks notice they helped this novice plan the menu for an expected 100 guests and performed way beyond the call of duty for my in-law's 50th Anniversary Celebration. They were on time, the food was marvelous and beautifully presented, not to mention the quantities - more than enough to handle our crowd. Everyone complimented the food.



It was a wonderfully memorable celebration. Should I need a caterer in the future, you can be sure Affordable Events & My Catering will be my first call.

Mary Jean catered my mother-in-law's 50th birthday party. We really wanted to not have to worry about anything and Mary Jean helped so much! The price was great and the food was awesome! Everyone kept raving about it! The rest of the family asked if she could cater all the rest of our family functions.
