Fluoride Treatment
Most of us remember having a fluoride treatment as a child. You might be surprised if your hygienist or dentist recommends that you have a fluoride treatment as an adult. There are specific oral indications that fluoride therapy can be beneficial for such as: recession and sensitivity; adult decay and remineralizing weak areas in the enamel. Research has shown adult patients benefit from fluoride application which is available in multiple forms these days. In office treatments include foam, rinses and varnish. Dr. Lindemann also advises home use prescription strength fluoride for patients that need it.

Veneers
A: Porcelain veneers are custom restorations that can change the color and shape of your natural teeth. They are a beautiful, life like, and require minimal removal of tooth structure. Veneers last a long time with good oral hygiene habits.

A: Fluoride has been clinically proven to remineralize areas of the tooth that are weak, especially around old fillings and crown margins.

“I first went to Dr. Lindemann over ten years ago. We had lived abroad for several years and all the family had dental problems. My daughter needed braces and my husband and I had quite a few cavities and other problems to deal with. My bridge had just broken and Dr. Lindemann suggested that I replace it with implants. (Still fairly new dentistry at the time.) He talked me through the process, set up the consultation with an oral surgeon and put the final caps on my teeth. They remain today. Following Dr. Lindemann’s advice on the implants was the smartest decision I have ever taken with my teeth.”

Braces
We have a great product in our office called MI paste. MI paste works by strengthening your teeth by replenishing calcium and phosphate minerals. This helps with protecting and rebuilding weak areas in your enamel. If you suffer from sensitivity, recurrent decay, dry mouth, or wear braces, this product would be a great product to try. Please ask one of our dental hygienists if you are intersted in trying MI paste.

Teeth Whitening
We offer 3 different ways to whiten your smile. We have the Rembrandt Sapphire in office system, take home whitening kits with custom trays, and Crest whitening strips. Bleaching products get better every year.
