Founded in 1928, Michael Lewis Company is a privately held company that provides airline logistics and supply chain management services, as well as a variety of products and equipment. It manufactures loose leaf ring binders, packaging systems, and packaged cutlery and snacks kits. The company supplies disposable catering products, paper, frozen food, beverages, plastic, rotables and cabin supplies to major airlines. Michael Lewis Company undertakes contractual wine distribution, equipment balancing, packaging and refurbishing and cleaning assignments. It maintains more than 50 truck docks and several test kitchens. The company has over 260,000 square feet of warehousing space and is headquartered in Wood Dale, Ill.
