Worst ever!! Brought in my sick pet and had her get even sicker with 3 days of their treatment, when I called and asked for another antibiotic they said that I had to pay for an emergency visit in order to get the antibiotic. I left a message for the general manager and never received a return phone call. They have no concern for peoples pets all they care about is making money.

Ohio Great Dane Rescue started taking our rescued Great Danes to Total Pet Care in 2012. Since then they have spayed/neutered over 25 Danes for our rescue. Total Pet Care has always gone out of their way to assist us with these dogs. We truly appreciate everything everything that they do.

They took in my pet on an emergency and tried to push for 1000.00 worth of test and hospitalization which was not necessary. Then on Monday when I took him to our regular vet they will not fax over the blood work results! They care about the money not the pets! Come on people get a clue
It always saddens me when an EX employee chooses to write a negative review. This person did come to our clinic on a Saturday late in the day when most other clinics are closed. She was treated with care and concern for her dog which has a history of seizures. I always find it interesting when a person come to a Doctor for medical advice and than states emphatically what is or is not necessary for treatment. The plan presented included hospitalization and monitoring. For us to have a veterinary technician stay with the pet around the clock is a significant expense. This would have been contained within the treatment plan that the client turned down. This ex employee came to us because we are one of the few clinics open on Saturday afternoon. It is fine if she wishes to not accept the Doctor's recommendation but is is unacceptable for her to mistake our level of caring when out Doctor chooses to offer a standard of care most would deem appropriate for a dog with early seizure symptoms. It appears her dog may have been on the verge of a seizure and why he prescribed medicine to counteract that condition. Hospitalization and monitoring would be appropriate. Regarding the records, our notes indicate that the records were faxed twice to her regular clinic so it appears that there was a malfunction of some sort. We work with clinics throughout Northwest Ohio on a daily basis. We are far more that a veterinary clinic and hospital. We must work with clinics to send and receive records of vaccine history for our boarding, grooming and daycare clients as well. We wish this ex employee well. I don't think you can find a more comprehensive and customer oriented pet care facility in NW Ohio. TPC has provided care for both my cat "Jackson" and dog "Zephyr". When they're in that clinic, they are treated like Royalty.
The facility and medical care is state of the art. When traveling, I've told my friends that Zephyr is at The Ritz Carleton for Dogs. Every single time when I pick him up he's smiling, bathed, and lead to me by a staff person that loves animals.
I went first to Total Pet Care because I've done lots of business with it's owners Dan and Connie Shook I go back because they've delivered beyond my expectations. They're straight shooters that know how to care for customers and pets. You can trust them with your pet family members. If you go to TPC once, it will be your pet care facility of choice!

When my yorkie was sick a few weeks ago I called and Total Pet Care was told to bring him right in. The staff took exceptional care of not only him but me as well. Because he is so little and what was wrong with him he had to stay 2 nights. Dr. Hoffman and her well trained staff of Registered Veterinary Technicians took care of him as though he was one of their own pets. When I picked him up I was confident that he received the best care available in the area. Thank you Total Pet Care for helping my little guy.

Total pet care is a wonderful family run business. Our family had an incident in which our dog was severely injured, the owner personally came out to our home and helped save our animal. The vets were all very attentive and personable. I cannot say enough about the staff. Our dog had to stay for several weeks and the staff went out of their way to accomodate her. They also worked with our family on the vet bills which were quite high (our dog had 3 surgeries)
