This office is not medicaid friendly. I have five children, I am an Ohio Licensed School Counselor with a Masters in Education, I had to take time off to take care of our twins and my husband has horrible insurance through his place of employment, there is no dental at all. We are struggling middle class people who are not on welfare and not accepting food stamps however we needed better insurance and were able to get Paramount Advantage for our children untill I am able to go back to work. I never missed an appt nor was I ever late, but this past Monday I did miss an appt for the twins because I had a bad reaction to an antibiotic and strep throat, it was my fault, I just forgot. I called and left an apologetic sincere message and received no call back. I then called again and spoke with a receptionist who said she would speak with the dentist, once again no phone call back. I called today and was informed that my boys woukd not be able to go there. I said that I understood however I was never a prior no show nor had I ever been late, but I guess that is how struggling folks on medicaid are treated at this office. I then cancelled my girls appts. This is the first time my children have been on medicaid and I now know exactly how the poor are treated. This is a shameful institution and people are so uncaring and insensitive. My husband and I are both college educated and our simply experiencing hard times. Regardless of this no person should be treated like less because they are on medicaid, what happened to compassion. This dentist is not a good person and I will continue to let everyone I know in my proffession, volunteer organization, social media, and friends all know about this. Dr. Glinka and Dr. Voss do not have genuine hearts nor empathy or compassion, they are a great example of greed.
