        Albert Harris Elementary School, located in Martinsville, Va., and established in 1968 provides basic education and extracurricular activities. It serves students in grades kindergarten through five. The school s curriculum includes English, math, and health and physical education, and emphasizes on basic learning skills. It also provides special education, art and music classes. Additionally, the school offers the Minds and Motion program that teaches fourth grade students various positive characteristics, such as discipline, dedication and self-awareness through a series of choreographed movements. It also provides after school programs, and offers boys and girls clubs that provide character and leadership developing activities, sports, and fitness and recreational activities.
