I had heard good things about this restaurant and decided to try it out since it's in my backyard.\r \r I can say is it was not good. The wine I ordered was one I had had before and is okay for everyday wine, but the bottle must have been opened a while because the wine was bad. Though my bad, I didn't ask them to take it back, but you would think after 1/2 hour of me not drinking it that would have been the first clue.\r \r I ordered to me a simple dish to make Fettuccine Alfredo The pasta was under cooked and the sauce tasted like onions. I won't be going back because I don't think I could eat the food again. To be fair the gentleman sitting next to me ordered the prime rib and loved it. \r \r

We'd heard about this place a couple times but never made it over. After a recent cruise, our Louisiana ship-mates gave us the a craving for ""mud bugs"". I was very happy with the cajon/creole food found at this restaurant. The gumbo had a nice spice to it, the red beans and rice were perfectly flavored with smoked ham hocks I'd guess but the showstoppers were the crawfish appetizers and the Louisiana pasta. As if all this wasn't good enough...you must have the Jack Daniel's bread pudding it's worth saving room for.
