The Compound

The gentlemen working at The Compound were very professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, affable, and flexible. Give them a call and ask for Brandon...he's the owner/landscape manager. He came by our house, sensed our lack of creativity and vision, and completely took charge. Brandon designed everything and managed the project. He has 2-4 landscapers that he works with who did most of the manual labor...though many days Brandon was on site working alongside them even though he was simultaneously managing other projects. They leveled our front and back lawns...removed the existing "grass" (read: weeds), lay new sod, moved the back fence to expand the backyard, installed a new fence gate on one side of the house, outlined flower beds on the sides of the house and along our deck, removed the rotted wood retaining wall and all existing plants (some of which required heavy machinery), moved boulders form the front yard to the backyard for use as decoration, removed an existing rotted window box under our front window and rebuilt the flower bed with concrete blocks. Most significantly they designed and built the concrete block retaining wall and gardens in front of our house...connecting it to our neighbor's wall in a seamless design. It was a huge undertaking that took about a month to complete. Brandon had a plan for how the project would unfold in phases...he kept us apprised of their progress and was always accesible when we had questions or concerns. They were on time and working throughou the day. I highly recommend them. We will be removing our back deck and replacing it with a concrete patio in the next year or two and will definitely have them do the job.
