Though I just asked Jan to list my house, I thought it was important to give an up front review. New at listing a property, I asked 4 real estate companies to send over someone to look through and review my home and to give me their best listing price. I won t list the companies, but I will tell you I am glad I did what I did. First review was ok, gave me their recommendation, but suggested 20K lower to list, second asked me to initial right off the bat the purpose of an agent acknowledgement... when i said can I do it later if I go with you? I was told by the agent she could write I refused...interesting. The 3rd agent gave me review and a price 5K over what I owe. Jan was the last agent to come through my home, she spent time talking with me regarding my home and when I asked her to list, we spent more time going over things. She spent quite a bit of time explaining everything to me and also let me know based the real comparables she found gave me a good listing price to use. She stated anything less, then another agent is looking to sell it fast for the commission and not in the best interest of the seller. I felt really good with her and confident that she was going to do her best for me.
