My families experience with APW has not…
My families experience with APW has not been positive. They often quote prices at a higher rate than their own website (10-20% higher) and then say that the lower price is an aftermarket part which they never seem to have in stock. We've also ordered parts and been quoted a date for p/u and had to wait an additional week with no notice from them. Not a fan.

Walked in with my Maytag dryer heating element expecting to pay $50+. They tested it and discovered that it was only the thermistor that was bad. Grand total: $17. It's the only place I'll go from now on.

The staff are very knowledgeable and almost always have the parts I need on hand. I have replaced dryer, oven, furnace, & electrical parts and with 1 exception have always been able to just drop by and pick up what I need. The one time they did not have the furnace valve I wanted, they called me and let me know when they could get it. I have also found the website to be a real help when searching by part number.
