Rent A Wreck was an incredibly affordable and pleasant transaction. I got the best deal in town over Thanksgiving 2013. Lars, who handled everything I needed, was lightning fast in replying to my initial voicemail and he even picked me up from the house when I was ready to take the car. The car was comfortable, but not washed or vacuumed - ok. It was a great experience. The only reason it's not getting 5 Stars from me is because I received a partial refund of my deposit (90 of 100) for a supposed gas level shortage - which was not true. I called a couple times to inquire and each time I did, Lars said he would get back to me but he never returned my call. It's not a big $ loss but the A+ customer service went down for me then. Other than that, I was very satisfied and it's still the best rental experience I've had.
Reservations are easy through their site. In person service took a while because I used a debit card and not a credit card and you need 2 utility bills to verify your address. The refund was issued quickly for the difference of the estimate and actual cost. The best thing to me was all the pertinent info is on your receipt i.e. fuel level, any existing scratches or damage to the car and the estimate (hold price) with the actual charge.
I enjoyed my experience there. I want to thank Stefon Martin and Manager Dustin Thomas for their help during my time of bereavement. They went the extra mile to get me on the road fast and that says a lot about ( The Human Element ) when making a positive connection with customers. I will always rent from their location as long as I live in Marietta GA.
