Amazing fried chicken even for non-chicken lovers!!! We recently went to the Local for brunch. At first I was disappointed that the menu was rather small and only included a couple breakfast options, so I got the salad. (it’s more of a lunch place than breakfast place). The salad was good. But then I tried some of my husband’s fried chicken and French toast---it was AMAZING. I’m not even a chicken fan, and I loved it! The atmosphere is very charming; it fits in perfectly with the quaintness of the Square. Oh and the service was very attentive. It was crowded, but the staff made sure everyone's needs were met.
My first encounter at a Firehouse Sub and it was great! Scott just so happened to be the manager on duty. He made my sandwich for me; and I told him that I would call the store back and let him know just how much I did or didn't like the sandwich. I did call back, and I spoke with Josh because Scott was busy at the time. I let Josh know that I was pleasantly surprised with my sandwich and to tell Scott that I would be back.
