I had Lasik done on both eyes May 21 and was seeing 20/20 the next day!! Dr. Burkes and his staff were fantastic. I felt at ease thru the whole process and every question was answered thoroughly. I just had my Lasik done 2 days ago by Dr Gailitis and everything went GREAT. All the staff, and I mean everybody, was awesome and friendly. My wife is going to have hers done in the future and we would'nt think of going anywhere else. These are the people to SEE !

I just had LASIK about 2 weeks ago and I highly recommend Dr. Gailitis and the entire staff of the Center for LASIK in Margate, FL. Any time I buy anything, I research it thoroughly and shop around intensely. Here are some key things I loved about this office: This is a small practice with a very attentive and wonderful staff - who practices EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - imagine in a medical office! They (esp. Dr. Gailitis) are very passionate about their work, have one of the most advanced lasers in the entire industry and use a very precise laser to make the corneal flap -the next day it was nearly impossible to see the edges of it without their equipment - it also healed very quickly and was not uncomfortable. Most of all, they TAKE THE TIME to explain everything to your satisfaction in layman's terms and make sure you are very comfortable with all aspects of the procedure. Their pricing is also very competitive, and I liked the way they include the initial visit and all follow up in the single fee. Finally, my results were AMAZING! I think I already have around 20/16 in one eye and slightly less than 20/20 in the other! Considering my extremely near-sighted and astigmatic conditions beforehand, it's like a miracle! I only wish I had done it sooner, albeit at this office, as I credit their expertise in the great results they achieved for me. Dr. Burks is the man!!! For the first time I can remember I can wake up and see without having to fumble around for my glasses. He was extremely helpful before and after the procedure, but the staff really made the experience (they are amazing!). I would recommend this as the #1 destination for LASIK in the South Florida area.



PS if you're considering LASIK, don't wait! Get it now! I wish I had done this years ago.

I was very nervous about seeing a doctor about my vision because I had not been to an eye doctor in a long time. I knew I was having problems with my vision. When I called I spoke with a young lady named Laura... She was very sweet, polite, and did not rush me off the phone, like SOME offices do. When I went to the office the staff was nothing short of exceptional! I got to meet Laura and she remembered speaking with me, she asked me how everything went and we chatted. Everyone was genuine. i would recommend going here.
