I trust these guys wholly and have for years, They have had MANY opportunities to overcharge me or do all sorts of unethical things, and never once have I had any issues. I truly without reservation recommend them, and only stumbled across this page because I was looking up the phone number, even though once I saw it I knew I already knew it by heart.

Totally unprofessional, refuse...

Totally unprofessional, refused me towing services; even though I have AAA and they are a AAA towing vendor. Person at the counter was rude, I was forced to pay out of pocket for towing and had to wait two days to get my vehicle home. Don't go to T & B Motors for service, you won't get it.

This vehicle was originally towed for being unregistered, which is a service not covered by AAA. The customer then tried to have the vehicle towed over the next couple of days by calling AAA repeatedly, and each time the call was declined because the vehicle was still unregistered. The decision of which services to cover is made at the sole discretion of AAA, not T&B Motors. Since there was no motor club coverage for the tow bill, the customer had to pay out of pocket for the original and second tow. Our service writer did their best to explain this to the customer, who did not want to hear it. We perform an average of 40-45 calls per day, and do so within accordance of all motor club policies.

This is most honest place in town. The crew there has been working on my cars for years (since Bruce was there!!) and I'm never disappointed. The price is fair, service is exceptional and the job is done right the first time. Steve always lets me know what is going on with my car and helps to prioritize the repairs to stay within my budget. Thanks for everything!

they know what theyre talking about

I bought a preowned car from T and B 6 months ago and have not had any problems at all since. It runs BEAUTIFULLY. I can't believe how nice a vehicle I got for such a reasonable price. I rented a truck to go on vaca...

I rented a truck to go on vacation. Took the dogs. One of the dogs hit the door lock button with her paw and locked us out of the truck. Not a good way to start a vacation. Called AAA and then sent T&B motors. They were busy so it took a little while to show up, but when the wrecker arrived, the driver had my door unlocked in 10 seconds and no damage to the rental. Thanks for saving me.

Transmission went on my Ford F...

Transmission went on my Ford F350. Fixed it quick at a reasonable price. Several months now and no problems. Saved my old truck from the scrap heap.

Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!

T&B is the towing service you get when you call AAA in Willimantic (a fact I'm working to change). For the meantime, I suggest that if you live in Willimantic or the surrounding area, you look at other options for road side assistance. This is a perfect example what is wrong with internet ratings and the general trend of complaining before you ask for help. Breaking lug studs is an unfortunate possibility when changing any tire, due to rust, damaged threads, etc. In this customer's case the lug nut was cross threaded by the last person who serviced the tires, and the lug stud was going to break by whoever serviced the vehicle next. Despite our position that the breakage is not the fault of T&B Motors, to maintain our reputation and provide exceptional service, we replaced the stud at no cost to the customer. The complaint was posted before the customer attempted to contact any member of management at T&B Motors. Going forward, a good practice would be to contact a business to see what resolutions can be made when an issue arises. T&B Motors has been servicing the Mansfield and Willimantic area for over 30 years, and performs approximately 1,300 service calls per month. We will continue to provide exceptional service to all customers that can appreciate it.
