        The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center was started in 1983 by Dr. Richard Baker and Dr. William Jones to provide superior orthopedic and wellness services to Manhattan area residents. Their vision and dedication to keep the community in motion has guided OSMC's development and growth. Over the years, OSMC has added several physicians and satellite clinics throughout northeast Kansas. In October of 2002, the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center was opened in its present location. Modifications to the current building were made in late 2010 to include a new doctors pod and a new location for physical therapy. Schedule your appointment now.

        I had both of my knees replaced at OSMC, Dec 2008 and March 2009. I am still going strong today! Dr. James McAtee and his entire team are the very best!
