General Info: The Manhattan Beach Public Works Department offers a range of public infrastructure design, construction, operation and maintenance services. It operates an engineering division that provides design solutions for water, transportation, traffic, storm drain and sewer systems, park facilities, streets and city buildings. The department administers the Geographic Information System program, which offers digital mapping services and databases. The Manhattan Beach Public Works Department also provides a range of streets, parks and swimming pools repair and maintenance solutions. It administers various environmental programs, such as water and energy conservation, air quality management and storm water pollution prevention. Additionally, the department offers a variety of utility, recycling, concrete pavement, demolition and waste management services. Located in Manhattan Beach, Calif., the Manhattan Beach Public Works Department is a part of City of Manhattan Beach City Hall.
