Horrible place with horrible people. They keep scheduling visits for unnecessary tests, max out my insurance. I had to do 3 visits for tests before I see the doctor, and at the end I was send to collections for tests my insurance had paid. I had to spend hours on the phone to get everything resolved. As of today I am still on collection because of their obnoxious billing people.

Don't go !

Hello. This is Dr. Dimitri Kessaris responding to the review written on 4/10/2014 by Nick C.:

At Progressive Urology we strive to provide the highest level of care for our patients. Diagnostic testing is performed to identify any potential urologic problems. Billing issues are usually dealt with in an efficient fashion at our practice. We strive to resolve any financial concerns that the patient may have, especially if the patient has a financial hardship. We understand that many health insurance companies are now shifting a lot of the costs of their care onto the patients so if there is a financial hardship, we make a strong effort to try to decrease, if not eliminate, that expense to the patient.

Prior to sending any patient to collection, a multitude of patient billing statements are sent out by mail to the patient and our billing staff makes multiple attempts to telephone the patient and resolve the billing concerns. Unfortunately many patients do not respond to our attempts to reach out and resolve their issues and thus the billing balance gets sent for collections. We always advise our patients to call our billing department and try to resolve the issue and if they still are not satisfied they can always reach out to my office manager and/or myself to get resolution to their issues.
