The cook that owns this restaurant is a great lady and an awesome cook. She is creative and puts together some fantastic combinations like you only see on the cooking shows -- such as a pear/brie cheese omelet! The place is very small and "homey" is one to put it, but she's a former New Yorker, can handle a crowd and is quick on her feet and eager to please. Worth a visit after a long night out -- she is open on weekend nights to catch the after hours crowd.
While travelling on business I happened upon this place purely by chance. It was a good sign that on a Monday night there was a waiting line. I had the Steak Tips over rice with onions and peppers and a salad. For desert the homemade rum raisin ice cream. I have been back twice since the initial visit and will go there every time i'm in town. Great service, great food and highly recommended! Go there, you will love it!
Took the mom's there on Mother's Day. Three of us had the lobster carbonara, it was awesome, best carbonara ever. Large chunks of lobster, the sauce was a perfect creamy texture and flavorful. The chef used asparagus as a substitute for the typical pea vegetable ingredient, good call. The pasta was fresh made and was amazing. The meal was a great value at $22. Check it out.
