Wiggins Airways was founded in 1929 by E. W. Wiggins and, through creation of an ESOP, the employees purchased the company in 1985. The company employs approximately 150 people with annual sales of $16 million.Wiggins Airways is a Bell Helicopter Authorized Service Center. This requires an in-house stock of parts, special tools and factory-trained mechanics. Customers of Wiggins Airways enjoy the convenience of 24-hours-a-day dispatch facilities, located at the Manchester, N.H., airport, 50 miles north of Boston. The company also maintains a full service ExxonMobil Avitat FBO with pilot and passenger lounges and a Hertz Rental Car facility on site. Wiggins Airways is a well-known, highly-respected, financially-sound, employee-owned, full-service aviation company.
