Adopted one of my dogs from the Manchester animal shelter years ago and periodcally go there to drop off donations, as I am forever grateful. My pup had been at the shelter for 4 months when I adopted her. She was healthy and well socialized.Had she been in a shelter like the majority of shelters -she would have been put to sleep within 10 days. Having witnesses many "shelters" in many other areas of the country, I am so thankful that Manchester has a no-kill shelter. If I find a stray or sickly animal - i can take them to a place where I know they will be cared for, vetted and found a suitable home. I am also amazed that a rescue working solely on donations is able to intelligently and humanely run a shelter.Operating a no-kill shelter ,especially in hard economic times is no easy task.Hats off to the shelter!!

I like that they a no KILL -on any pet they all need love and a safe place to be if i could i keep all Pitt-bulls from being kill they are great dogs if you gave the love they will gave it back to you trust is what they all need and a safe home and someone who cares I know they some that are bad .But that because the person don't care about them they where bad to them so that How any dog get bad from people who don't care If you have pet of any kind love them always
