Time Machine

I went there about a month ago. Was very impressed with both the dollhouse and train items they had in their inventory. Sales people were very helpful. Just call ahead to see if the lady who runs the dollhouse area is in that day if you want advice about the dollhouse. It's always available for purchase, it's just that the lady doesn't work every day. I was very impressed and will be back soon.

I went to this store for the first time and saw that they had a decent sized inventory. I made a good sized purchase (about $1500) and thought I found my new future Hobby store.

So I get home happy with my purchase so far and I start inspecting my purchase and one of the items I purchased ($350) turned out to be defective. (Just to give you an idea, I am meticulous with my stuff and I keep everything better then new). I immediately packaged the item back into its retail box perfectly the way it came from the factory. I brought the item back to the Time Machine the next day and as I was walking up to the counter with the item I purchased the manager of the RC department Radio Controlled vehicle department) started to shake his head "no" even before I had a chance to say anything. I proceeded to tell him that the item was defective. He told me that since it is used I can't return it. I told him that I did not use it and it was defective from the start. He stopped me and said you turned it on so it is now used and to deal with the manufacturer.

So now besides that problem, one of the items I purchased was not in stock and had to be ordered ($400). So the Manager of the RC department calls me a few days later and leaves me a message saying that the item has arrived. I call him back and wanted to confirm the price we discussed which was $400. He says " I dont remember saying that, it is $420". So I continue and tell him the only reason I was purchasing that item was because he gave me the reasonable price of $400. If it was anymore then $400 I was going to buy it else where because I had an online store that was selling it for $400. Since Time Machine was willing to sell it to me for $400 I wanted to give them the business and plus it was more convenient not dealing with the shipping from online stores. So in the middle of that phone call he gets all mad and acts extremely rude and yells "Go and get it from the online store!!"

I was going to give them a lot of business until I had the worst experience of any hobby store I have ever been to. Probably the worst experience of any store I have been to period!

I deffinately suggest not going to this store. They care only about the sale and getting money from you. After you give them your money, they dont want anything to do with you. Unless of course you want to give them more money.
