The worst daycare experience I ever had with my child. There was always a different teacher in the classroom and they never wrote in the daily learning notebooks as promised. When they did, some of the teachers couldn't even spell or write as well as a third grader. They wanted payments made on Mondays and one Monday and Tuesday we were both sick so I brought my child and payment in on Wednesday morning and they tried charging me a $50 late fee for Monday and Tuesday each. The director, Fatia Lord, said that I couldn't bring my child back until I paid the $100 late fee on top of the tuition, which was not in the contract. The contract states if any payment is two weeks in arrears then your child may not come in until paid. Also, I paid the tuition as of Wednesday morning and she tried to tell me I would have to pay a $50 late fee everyday until I paid the $100 late fee (Impossible as I am a single mother!) That was also not in the contract. It only stated that you would receive a $50 late fee for everyday that tuition was not paid - not the late fee. I believe Daycare owners need to have compassion. She said we should have drove up to the daycare, sick and all, to drop the check for payment into the drop box. My childs previous daycare (Happy Kid) closed and I had no choice but to switch daycares. I wish someone would have warned me - I would NEVER recommend this daycare to any parents!
