"I just had to sit down and tell you an experience i had with this catering service. In the summer of 2008 we had a family reunion aboard the River Queen Louisana Style River Boat based out of Brielle, NJ.We didnt know what to expect on this cruise as we have never had this kind of gathering before on a River Boat. First the boat ride was beautiful, the owners of the boat let us decorate the boat the way we wanted, the crew was also pleasant and very professional. My sister was in charge of this event and she chose a food package called the Andrea Doria,(it seemed weird picking a package named after a doomed ocean liner) but my sister is also weird, anyway the food was a wonderful surprise,it stared off with a caeser salad, then they bought out seasonal fruit on a stick, also available were fresh vegetables with several dressings, then the horderves started coming out, stuffed mushrooms,we added sauted mushrooms as well, our family loves mushrooms, they cooked up some tenderloin tidbits in garlic butter that just melted in the mouth, then the main entree was served, The meat they served was perfectly cooked Tenderloin Roast, also served was freshly prepared eggplant marinara,I am assuming homemade meatballs in the same marinara,i am pretty sure the marinara is also homemade, chicken cordon bleu with real chicken breasts or thighs, and the vegetable we selected was a broccoli floret with a touch of hollaindaise sauce,i sampled everything that was offered, and i thought i was done until i smelt the choclate chip cookies being baked on board,i had a few and them washed them down with delicious choclate covered strawberries and freshly brewed coffee. I definately went off my diet that nite but it was worth it,i would reccommend the River Queen and catering company that prepared the food to anyone who asks me about my experience, great job to all involved. The Robello Family p.s. any chance of getting your choclate chip cookie receipe?"
