Customer service was terrible.

if i could have gave no stars i would have, thats how terrible this bank is or maybe its just my LO either way i would not recomend this place for buisness, as apperently they dont want your buisness. Ive been in the process of financing a home thru them for 5 months and the comittment letter isnt even done. waited 2 1/2 months just to get the house assessed ..would have been longer if hadnt called the assessor myself. they kept telling us everything is in order and that the assessor was just backed up.when i called the assessor and gave him our names he told us none of them rang a bell and that ,he hadnt recieved any paper work from the bank for the assessment on the house.so i called the bank and told them what the assessor said to me , they said they they forget to send it out and that they would fax the paperwork right away.well that only took another week to get there. So that was the first three months of this fiasco. The most recent issue wich has so far took 8 1/2 weeks is the comitment letter thing. Was told that it should take 2 weeks or so. We waited 4 weeks to call them just figuring it might be done ,It wasnt...so i called the following week and was told that they didnt turn the paper work into the underwriter right off...sigh...well this was three weeks ago now and from what i gather on the INET it should take a max of 9 days and the norm is 3 we would call every week sometimes twice a week just to try and talk to someone. they would ask for our name and number and that they would call us back and let us no whats happening. well outa 5 months now they have only called MAYBE 4 or 5 times. This was supposed to be a really exciting time for us and now is just the biggest headache ever. very unprofessional bank...best bet go to nbt ,seacomn,or key stay away from this place.. they tell u every thing u wanna here but cant deliver it with their incapable staff
