First visit to JB's Eat a Bite BBQ, and while I was a bit put off on the location, my friends and I were more then enthused given the great reviews. Long story short, we were not disappointed! The owner was genuine and friendly, more then happy to share a quick story, a smile and numerous samples of his delicious menu items. The rib tips were melt in your mouth, the okra cooked to perfection, and the candied yams sweet enough to call dessert (yum!). All in all... the food was good, the owner and staff even better! Happy to see some people still know the meaning of good (nay great) customer service! Good job Mr. Brown, I'll definitely be back!

The waitress was nice the atmosphere was good and the food was good. The only thing I was disappointed with is that they threw away my food that I had prepared to take with me. They threw away my boxed food when I got up from the table to use the bathroom. I was told by the manager that's what they do they clean up the tables really quickly so they can get more people in I'm sorry. Next time guard your food you never know where it'll end up.
The south side of Madison has a new southern style restaurant. The menu consist of everything from rib tips to from legs. Although I haven't tried everything on the menu I can say what I did order sat pretty well with me. The atmosphere is inviting and the price is not that bad. I plan on eating there as long as they stay in business.
