Initially eager to look for frames at a new store, it was not 10 minutes before we walked back out. We barely had a foot in the door before the saleswoman made rude comments (these comments have been shared with the district manager) and overwhelmed us with information that we were not (yet, at least) interested in. When we were finally able to step farther into the store and look at frames, she was already back with a box full of frames she assumed we would like, without any knowledge of what we were even looking for. This potentially would have been great, had we gotten a couple minutes to simply look around before being immediately bombarded with her pushiness. When she finally walked away, a salesman approached us, positioning himself directly in front of the frames I was reaching for. He brushed off my comment that we were "just browsing" (aka we need some space to breathe) by aggressively telling us that he has 15 years of experience, and he will help us choose frames. At that point, we simply turned around and left the store.



We would highly recommend Ulla Eyewear and Eye Contact! The staff at both locations greeted us warmly and welcomed us to approach them with questions at any time. One woman even commented, "No one wants someone in their face when they're browsing and getting a feel for what they like!" She couldn't have said it better.
