I agree with Edwardson's review in November. I visited about the same time & found the same problems they went threw but i also had a cockroach crawl across my table witch i have a picture of on my phone. But i returned tonight with a group of men from the room in the inn with my church & found a great new experience . They had a new manager or as she called her self a social director or something to that effect. The place was spotless the employees were very courteous, polite & very helpful. She was so nice to everyone in my group & that's unusual for anyone to be nice to the homeless people. most of the guys gave a one dollar tip figure that. I will have to give it a three thumbs up for turnaround.
This place is great for Madison. We have not had a nice place to eat dinner out this way in a while. Its where the old picadilly cafeteria was so there is plenty of parking and room inside. The food was great and its really reasonable if not down right cheap. You can even pick out what you want on your plate and they grill it for you in just a couple minutes. Hope it stays just like it is because I find myself eating there 3 to 4 times a week for lunch or dinner. My Father and I have really enjoyed it and will continue to dine here on a regular basis.
Great Food!!!!! Great Service!!!!!Friendly Environment!!!!....The food was soooo good!!! I had the fish combo and OMG is all I can say. I didn't stop there I had to take a bowl of gumbo home with me and my hat goes off to the chef. I have eaten at King Fish out East Nashville and they are ridiculous for the amount of money they charge for their fish combo. Mama Josie's was well worth my money and I will definitely be back....Keep up the great work it's about time Madison had a place that reminds you of grandma's cooking:)
