E.O. Muncie Elementary School, located in Madison, Ind., and founded in 1957, is affiliated to the Madison Consolidated School District. The school offers various academic, cocurricular and enrichment programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. It enrolls students from all ethnic, social and economic groups. E.O. Muncie Elementary School serves a variety of food items for lunch from its cafeteria. It is an inclusion school that enrolls students with learning and mental disabilities, and includes them within the general classroom with academic support from a resource teacher. E.O. Muncie Elementary School is also a magnet school that offers programs, such as emotionally disabled, moderate disabled, developmental kindergarten, medically fragile and English as a second language program.
