Howard School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. It operates art, creative dramatics, music, and health and physical education departments. The school s academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. Howard School operates a library and media center that offers various resources, such as books, encyclopedias, newspapers and dictionaries. It has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that sponsors various fundraising activities for the school's development. It offers an extended day care program for elementary-grade students. Howard School also provides a range of summer activities, such as arts and crafts, drama, computer applications and a variety of adventurous summer camp activities.
