        Lynwood Public Works Department is responsible for planning, designing and the construction administration of all capital construction projects. Based in Lynwood, Calif., it provides engineering advice and support to the Lynwood City Council, Commissions, City Manager and various City departments. Additionally, the department repairs and maintains the city's water system, sewer system, streets, storm drains, street lighting, traffic signals, parks, median islands, buildings and related facilities. It also administers the trolley buses, oil recycling, refuse collection and street sweeping programs.
