Overall

The late fees are ridiculous. The management is unfair and maintenance is terrible. May 31st we came home to a water leak from the ceiling. We called maintenance and they said it was a roof leak and would be out there to fix it "soon". One week later they came and just put boards across the ceiling so that it would not cave in. ( Pictures attached) It continued to rain and the leak kept getting bigger. Two weeks later they fixed the roof, mind you it was on a Sunday and we had family over while they were banging around on the roof, very unprofessional. I called that next Monday and maintenance stated that they would be out that following day to fix the ceiling from the inside. That did not take place for several months. The leaked started May 31st and was not fully resolved until September 4th. That was one of many problems with maintenance. Several things were wrong with the apartment when we moved in, that they did not fix or just did not care about.

Another major problem is the late fees, they are just unreasonable. The rent is always paid in a reasonable time, within a certain window of time. I explained to the management that I was out of work for 6 weeks due to a hospital stay and that I was trying my best to catch up. Management proceeded to state that my rent needed to be a priority. I am caught up on rent but just owe the late fee's. They will not accept a payment plan and wanted to evict me, over late fee's!

This complex has been nothing but trouble and continues to be trouble. Please sign lease with caution.

Overall

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. it was the most horrible place I have ever lived! Not only did I have $160 dollars stole out of my apartment when maintenance finally came to fix my refrigerator after a week, among many other mainenance complaints and horrible neighbors, rude staff. I was thankful to move there and be done with that place but NO then i got a bill for prorated rent that i had the checks to prove and my bill had the wrong leasing info. I called right away to figure out why i was billed and was told i would be called back the next day and never did. 6 months later I was sent a bill from a bill collector and tried again to get the apartment manager to help me figure out why i was billed. I was told again that I would get a call back. I called at least 10 times in 2 weeks and just kept getting told the manager was out or she would call me back. Finally the manager lied to me on the phone herself saying she was out of office and would call me back so i drove down to office to try to find someone else to help and she was there. I finally got them to realize that i was not credited for all the checks i gave them even though they cleared the bank. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent here!
