Animal Hospital Of Lubbock

I have to say that even though my pet was takin care of the checkout process and the jeanny lady that checked me out was just plain rude. She had the worst attitude and ignored me for a while before "having" to ring me up

My dog was cut tonight and I googled 24 hour pet services and this is the first place that popped up. I frantically called and tried to explain my situation to a man who rudely cut me off and asked me if my pet was a regular at their clinic. When I said no and that I didn't know where else to go because my vet doesn't have a 24 hour clinic, he informed me that he was sorry but he could not help me until tomorrow. I ended up having to do a little more research and found the 24 hour animal emergency clinic in lubbock, a place that helps ALL animals who need it after their vets office is closed. The man who helped me there was very nice and reassuring and had wonderful advice that calmed me down and helped me through the steps to stop my puppy's bleeding.



I seriously have never been more upset about customer service in my life. Does this mean that if I would have come into their after hour clinic with a bleeding dog that they would have turned me away until morning? I am not usually one to write mean reviews but when you devalue the well-being of my dog, you deserve it.



On another note, maybe if this guy would have provided me with the help I was looking for I would've become a future customer, just saying...

Best service I have EVER recieved from a vet. I LOVE the walk-in hours! As a busy college student with a hectic schedule, the walk-in hours give me the ability to get my puppy in and out when needed! They don't nickel and dime you on every little thing like some vets and their bedside manner is impeccable! I will never go to another vet as long as I am a Tech student in Lubbock!

I am in Clovis, NM and there are no avian vets here. I called Animal Medical Center for advice on what to do with my macaw that had been bitten by a dog. I was able to speak with a vet and get all the information I needed. I took my bird over the same day and they saw him right away. The people that work there are AWESOME. Very compassionate about the animals and comforting to the owners no matter what the situation. I would recommend this office to absolutely ANY pet owner in or near the Lubbock area and all of those who live out here in Clovis that own birds, it's a long drive but the outcome is worth it. I take all my pet family members to these vets because they truly care about animals. I have lost a few, due to old age and the diseases that come along with age, but they have always been caring and understanding. They always let me know exactly what is going on when they are examining and taking care of my pets. I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after them!
